What we collect
We collect what you give us: your email address if you sign up for the newsletter or create an account, the articles you save when you're signed in, watch history only when you explicitly connect a streaming account, and basic device and analytics info (browser, OS, referring page, anonymized IP) used to understand site traffic.
How we use it
Strictly to run the site and make recommendations better — sending the newsletter you signed up for, remembering your saved articles, improving article rankings and search results, and understanding what's working so we can fix what isn't. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never share watch history or saved-article data with advertisers, streamers, or third parties for marketing. We never email you outside of the lists you've explicitly opted into, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can export or delete everything we have on you, anytime, from inside your account settings. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click. EU/UK and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA — email privacy@nextwatch.app and we'll handle the request within the legal window.
